About me

BSc (Hons) MCSP HCPC
I graduated in Isleworth, England in 1995 with a BSc (Hons) degree from Brunel University. I specialized in neurology in 1997 working mainly within the NHS including East Surrey Hospital, Redhill, The Royal Surrey and County Hospital, Guildford and for CSH Surrey, a social enterprise working in collaboration with other organisations as part of Surrey Downs Health and Care.
I have worked in the acute, sub-acute, rehabilitation and community setting since specializing. I have treated a variety of neurological conditions including Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Stroke and Familial Spastic Paraparesis. I’ve also specialized in Vestibular Rehabilitation.
In March 2019, I achieved the qualification of Structural Bodyworker, under Anatomy Trains UK, following a long period of study and a 12-day examination. This is a particular method of assessing for imbalance within the body and applying techniques aimed at facilitating our normal healing process. Under this title, I am also expanding my training by working to become an accredited Visceral Manipulation Therapist, to allow me to treat clients fully holistically.
In October 2019, I added to my skill set by completing the required training in scar treatments, under the Sharon Wheeler Scarwork organization. In December 2019 I went on to gain accreditation in work with abdominal and pelvic scarring.

I’m a member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and a state registered clinician under the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I’m also a member of The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Vestibular Rehabilitation (ACPIVR) and The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology (ACPIN).
I am a Christian, following Jesus Christ since I was six years old, and am part of Reigate Baptist Church. I am constantly in awe of how remarkable the human body is in its complexity and interconnections and pray that the work I do brings people relief, hope and restored quality back to their lives, although in adherence to our Professional Standards I do not openly share my faith unless asked.
